My goal is to have a error free program.
The current look and feel is going to be the finished product.
I like the simplicity.
How to use:
You must have a Sirius or XM Internet account.
Settings:
1. Use popup channel list - allows the channel list to pop up to the top of the player while searching for channels. To use this feature press your dpads up or down arrow. To make it retract back down press the dpads left or right key, or wait a few seconds and it will automatically retract. You can also click on the Channel list Column headers to pop up the channel list.
2. Auto start - This will automatically launch the player at the time configured. The player must not be running for auto start to work. Use the sleep function to automatically close the player if needed.
3. Use Visible Media Player- Uses Windows media player as a popup instead of the built in player.
4. CD Quality Stream - This will increase the bitrate which could cause skipping.
5. Play on Start up - The player will play the previously played last channel on start up.
6. Auto off Backlight - The display turns off after 30 seconds. The D-Pad turns your display back on.
7. Toolbar Icon Size - This will scale the toolbar and channel images smaller.
8. Use TCPMP - Uses TCPMP instead of the built in player.
Toolbar:
Click on the Toolbar to sort or filter the channel list. If you are using the internal player you can also adjust the volume from the toolbar. You can also stop the player. Press the left or right dpad keys to navigate the toolbar. Press the dpad enter key to select the toolbar option.
File Menu:
Stop - Stops the player without closing the application. Option is only available when using the internal player.
Manage Favorites - After selecting this option, chech the checkbox next to the channels you would like in your favorite channels list.
Clear History - Clears the history
Update Channel List - Logs into Sirius.com and download the channel list. It will only download the channels you have access to, using the account you entered in your settings. The channel update can take a while.
Settings - Opens the settings dialog.
View > Playlist- Display the current playlist and automatically update the list every minute.
View > Favorites - Only displays previously saved favorite channels.
View > History - Only displays the previously played channels in the order they were played. Sorting is turned off.
Sort by > No sort - Turns off sorting
Sort by > Channel #
Sort by > Channel name

"Unable to Stream content...You might not have access to this channel."
Then either you or the player does not have access to the channel.
Currently there is nothing I can do about this it is a Sirius authentication server issue. This app uses the old, no longer supported, authentication servers. Calling Sirius and complaining might just cause them to shut down the servers, killing this app.
If this changes i will let you know.

I added a couple of extra lines of error checking. If you played the player for hours on wifi occasionally the player would fault on a channel change.
The player now retains the whats playing list when resorting the play list.

If the clock on your device was off by more than 2 minutes the playlist would'nt update. The player now reads the clock off of the Sirius servers when launching to compensate for time differences. This should fix the issues related to the playlist not updating.
